The monsters of the machine, in a new edition of LABshop
LABshop returns to LABoral Centro de Arte on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 of December with over 50 Asturian entrepreneurs and the live performance of Fasenuova and the illustrators Thanya Castrillón and Eli García, in the context of Mary Shelley's Frankestein
LABshop returns this weekend gathering a group of new creators, designers and independent publishers on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 of December (from noon to 10 p.m.). LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial aims to disseminate the activity around design and creation in Asturias.
On the occasion of the show Los Monstruos de la Máquina, LABshop will offer two activities for all audiences aimed at explaining this exhibition inspired by Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, in its bicentennial year.
Hi-Fi shadows, Saturday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This activity brings back live music. On Saturday the melody will be played live to the first Frankenstein short film, directed by J. Searle Dawley in 1910.
This activity returns to the so-called silent films, of the time. This films were never silent as, from the beginning, the moving images where accompanied by orchestras that would put sound to the comings and goings of actors, actresses and scenarios on the screen.
The Asturian experimental electronic music band Fasenuova, made up by Roberto Lobo and Ernesto Avelino will play the sound track of the film's soundtrack.

Frankenstein illustrated, Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
the illustrators Thanya Castrillón and Eli García, collaborators of the Asturian publishing house Uve Books, will illustrate live a fragment of Shelley's novel, during LABshop.
During this day, several publishers will gather at a round table on the role of women in the publishing industry.

LABshop is a space open for creativity that to connect all participants and strengthen the links with the trend setters and the industry. A reference in Asturias that celebrates its 22nd edition with an outstanding participation. Over 50 Asturian entrepreneurs will meet next weekend at LABoral Centro de Arte.
