LABoral hosts on Friday 20th a concert for Augmented Instruments
It is part of the programme of Encuentros de Música Electroacústica and will take place at the Chill-out of the Art Centre from 7 p.m.

LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial will host tomorrow a concert for Augmented Instruments as part of the programme of Encuentros de Música Electroacústica. The concert will take place from 7 p.m. at the Chill-out Lounge of the Art Centre and entrance is free of charge.
For some time now, sound and music performers and creators have been trying to provide conventional instruments with other expressive capabilities through the use of technology, creating pitch parameters control systems, expanding the potential of traditional instruments. This is the line of work that will be shown in this concert, with the collaboration of LABoral, by a group of instrumentalists and composers that, on a regular bases, have been the core group responsible for the EME5 Encuentros de Música Electroacústica, organised by the Workshop of Musicians of Fundación Municipal de Cultura de Gijón.

- Demodocos Geistesblitz. For augmented violin

- Elogio de lo ausente (based on a work by Schumann). For toy piano, recorded piano and vibration speaker.

- Momentum Kinésica. For guitarrist, live electronic music and two solo guitars

- Transducción Aérea. For alto saxophone, Sensophone and live electronic music.
Performer: Francisco Javier Rodríguez, alto saxophone / sound engineer
- Turbo (concerted improvisation). For tuba, live electronic music and augmented tubas
