Tomás Miñambres Lara

Born in Gijón, 1971

He has exhibited his work in group and oneperson shows in various art centres and galleries: Generación 2004 by Cajamadrid, Wip:sthlm Stockholm, Galería Luis Adelantado, ARCO, Galería Espacio Líquido, Galería Trama, Bienal Internacional del Deporte Bida 07, Fundación Botín, Purificación García Photography Competition, Magazine Sala Amadís, Galería Canem and Museo Barjola, among others. His work is also part of collections such as Test imonio La Caixa, Comunidad de Madrid, Caja Madrid, Caja Asturias, plus many private collections. He has won prizes in the Cajamadrid Art Award and the ABC Photography Award, among others. Besides his work as an artist, he also has a parallel career as a professional photographer (advertising, publishing, architecture, fashion) and has worked with various magazines, institutions and corporations both here in Spain and the rest of Europe.
