Raquel Gallego Lorenzo is an architect who currently works in Gijón, from where she networks with various professionals for the development of multi-scale projects, ephemeral architectures and furniture design.

During the first two years of her career, she collaborated with architect Jovino Martínez Sierra in the development of singular buildings. She then moved to London and joined the studio of Zaha Hadid and Partners, working in the development of the project Spiralling Tower, an office building in Barcelona (2006-2008).

She co-founded FABberz (New York, 2009), together with Josiah Barnes. Together they created DIA-Designing Interface Architecture, an educational platform organising workshops on an international level to explore digital fabrication as a technology for the development of architecture.

Raquel Gallego studied at ESAYA-Escuela Superior de Arte y Arquitectura (Madrid, 2004) and completed a Master's course at IAAC-Instituto de Arquitectura Avanzada de Cataluña (Barcelona 2009).
