Paloma G. Díaz

A graduate in audiovisual communication at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and PhD in Art History at Universidad de Barcelona.

Since 2008 she publishes the blog UncoveringCtrl, specialising in New Media Art and related with surveillance and control. This topic is reviewed in her thesis: “Digital art practices and surveillance and control technologies (2001-2010)”.

She has developed her career entirely in the field of multimedia. She started focusing on design and then over the years she has specialized in project managing and consulting.

She teaches New Technologies and Media Art at UOC-Universidad Oberta de Catalunya and at BAU-Centro Universitario de Diseño de Barcelona. 

She has attended and delivered presentations in several events related with technology and privacy
