Óscar Díaz

Oscar Díaz studied industrial design in France before graduating with an MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art in 2006. After graduation, he set up his own practice in London, where he works with ideas applied to spaces, furniture and objects. His work, often inspired by a mix of craft and technology, is concerned with tweaking everyday objects and/or situations. While staying sensitive to the requirements and context of each project, his approach is multifaceted, investigative and playful, transforming the ordinary by challenging conventions. Recent projects include commissions by the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London and Domestic.
