Nicolás Combarro

Nicolas Combarro studied Audiovisual Communication at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, where he works as an artist and curator. He has had solo exhibitions in museums and galleries such as Gallery Moriarty in Madrid and Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Vigo (MARCO).

He has participated in international group exhibitions as Puntos de Encuentro in the CCBA in Buenos Aires or Spanish Photography in Hamburg and national and international fairs such as ARCO, Photo Miami and Art Brussels. He has also collaborated with other artists as in the video Tres moscas negras or e donde no se vuelve by Alberto Garcia-Alix, exhibited in art centers such as the Museo Nacional Reina Sofia in Madrid, at the Palais de Tokyo Paris or the Cultural Center of Spain in Sao Paulo. He has also received, among other awards, the Saab prize for best exhibition at Festival Photoespaña Off 08 and the First Prize of Photography INJUVE 2006. He is now involved in the project Separados al nacer, within the 42 National Art Exhibition Colombia
