Nancy Davenport

Born in Canada, 1965. Lives in USA.

Nancy Davenport’s work has been exhibited at a variety of venues, including the Gardner Arts Centre, Brighton, 25th São Paulo Biennial; the MIT List Arts Center, Boston; 1st Triennial of Photography & Video at the International Center of Photography, New York; de Singel International Kunstcentrum, Antwerp; 10th International Istanbul Biennial; 2008 Liverpool Biennial. Her work has appeared in numerous publications including Artforum, Art in America, October, The New York Times, Frieze, Vogue (UK) and Vitamin Ph: New Perspectives in Photography (Phaidon Press). Davenport’s writing has been published in October magazine and in Still Moving: Between Cinema and Photography, a book edited by Karen Beckman and Jean Ma (Duke University Press, 2008). Nancy Davenport is represented by Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery in New York.
