Naiara Valdano Sáenz de Ugarte

Born in the mid-1980s, she studied for a degree in Art History at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid [Complutense University of Madrid] and following this, a Master’s in Art Business at Sotheby's Institute of Art in London. Over the past few years she has worked as cultural manager and communication specialist, collaborating with different institutions, organisms and events: the Fundación de Amigos of the Museo del Prado (Madrid), the Cynthia Corbett Gallery (London), the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (New York), the 2014 Festival "Miradas de Mujeres" (Madrid) or the Office for Cultural and Scientific Affairs at the Spanish Embassy (London). At the moment she collaborates with the online platform Virtual Gallery and works as journalist for Plataforma de Arte Contemporáneo (Pac) and Input Magazine. She is also author of the blog Art Gossips, launched in October 2011.
