Matthias Fritsch

Matthias Fritsch lives and works in Berlin. He studied media art at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe (HfG) in Germany, and film, visual arts, and curating at the Bard College, Center for Curatorial Studies (CCS), in NEW YORK State, USA. He has made several short and feature-length films, as well as new media-based installations. In recent years, Fritsch has been experimenting with urban systems for food and soil production, developing tools for more sustainable everyday practices.
