Marta Botas
Marta Botas was born one Tuesday in Asturias, the same year when “Annie Hall” was showing on the screens in half the world. She got a diploma in Graphic Design from IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in 2000, and then founded and directed La (cle), a design and communication office, for eight years together with Elisa Beotas and Hélène Bergaz. At the same time she has been teaching courses at IED since 2002. In 2007 she started working on her own graphic and illustration projects while also working with Irene Bas on interior design projects under the joint name of “Bas con Botas”. That same year together with Germán R. Blanco she also “conceived” Rara de Raro, a company taking on small projects related with wine and gastronomy.
