Manel Torres / Fabrican Ltd
Manel Torres is fashion designer and researcher, creating new materials and their applications to fashion, product innovation and human/technology interfaces. En 1995 conceived the idea for Spray-on Fabric whilst studying MA in Fashion Women’s Wear at Royal College of Art in London. Manel obtained his PhD for Spray-on Fabric at the Royal College of Art. In 2003 Manel founded Fabrican Ltd. He presently lectures at the Istituto Marangoni. He is a Research Fellow at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, and an Academic Visitor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College London.
