Architecture Studio

Victor Longo (Mexico, 1971), architect by the ETSA Valladolid, founded in 2000 longo+roldán studio with Esther Roldan Roldan (Palencia, 1976), architect by the DEA ETSA Valladolid and ETSA at Barcelona. In 2001 they won the national competition of ideas for the Services Building for Gijon Port Authority, whose implementation involved the Asturias Award for Architecture 2004-2005. Two years after they win this award again with a collective housing building, and in its next call (2008-2009) they get a consolation prize for a detached house. They have also been finalists in many competitions, and their work has been published in magazines such as n Diseño, Arquitectura Viva, Pasajes de Arquitectura or Vía Construcción. They try to experiment and develop their ideas in interventions ranging from urban scale to ephemeral architecture, whose credits include exhibition installation for Mediateca Expandida and Chill-out space at LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial.
