Director of the Centre Pompidou-Metz, which opened in 2010. Before taking up this position, he was curator of modern and contemporary art at the Musée national d'art moderne Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, where he curated numerous shows, including a much acclaimed Dada exhibition in late 2005, which then toured to the National Gallery, Washington and MoMA-Museum of Modern Art, New York. Prior to this, Le Bon worked as a heritage curator in the Fine Arts Department at the French Ministry of Culture, and was also in charge of commissioning a number of important public artworks. Le Bon is also known for a series of exhibitions of contemporary art which he curated at Chateau de Versailles, including Jeff Koons (2008), Xavier Veilhan (2009) and Takashi Murakami (2010).
