LARAMASCOTO
Laramascoto is a collective formed by Beatriz Coto and Santiago Lara; both artists are graduates in Fine Arts from the Universidad de Granada and from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, respectively. They have realized projects and exhibitions taking place in places like Kunstlerhaus GlogauAIR and Bethanien Kunstraum Kreuzberg Berlin, Proyecto Circo in Havana, LABoral Centro de Arte, Liebre Gallery, Espacio Líquido Gallery, El Hervidero, Guillermina Caicoya Gallery, Museo Barjola, C Arte C de Madrid, Museo de Bellas Artes de Asturias, Arte Lisboa, Arte Santander and Mulafest 2012. Among his awards and scholarships are Alnorte, the Angel Andrade award and the CCAI grant for the proyecto Hombre-Medicina of Senegal. They have participated in Emergent 08 Óptica Festival, Foconorte, Lumen_ex, Intransit 2011 and Circuito Berlín 012 in Instituto Cervantes in Berlin, winning the “Premio joven JUST MAG” at Just Madrid in 2012 and the Primer premio in Arte40.
