Kikol Grau

Born in Barcelona, 1971

He started his professional career in BTV, and worked for seven years in this station as director and editor of cultural shows. In 1997 he won the Miramar prize to the best own production program in a local tv station in Catalonia. In 2002 he received a Special Jury Mention at the Festival Zemos98 to the most acid TV show for Gabinete de crisis.

He will continue with his work in different TV stations, combining it with his own personal work. He creates a TV channel in Internet where he creates independent TV shows and collects a myriad of culturally interesting alternative shows. These last 5 years he has worked as an independent director for Metrópolis in TVE, and also in Hamaca, a video archive and distributor, where he works as a video technician and editor. His interest in music has led him to shooting many independent vídeoclips.
