Jerszy Seymour

Jerszey Seymour born in Berlin in 1968 and she grew up in the multicultural concrete landscape of London as an integral part of the 80's street scene creating club flyers and as a DJ. After graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1991 Jerszy travelled and lived around the world, skating, snowboarding and collaborating with other artists, during which time he fermented and formulated the ideas that would characterize his idiosyncratic creative approach, evident in projects such as 'House in a Box' in 2002, 'Scum' in 2003 or ‘Tape' in 2003. His work has been exhibited in the Design Museum in London, the Vitra Design Museum in Basel and Berlin, the Pompidou Center, the Palais De Tokyo and Gallery Kreo in Paris. His work is held in the permanent collection of the ‘Fondation National de Art Contemporaine' France. He has designed for companies such as Magis, IDEE, Sputnik, Covo, Swatch, Perrier, L'Oreal, and Smeg. Jerszy currently works and lives between Berlin and Milan.
