He lives and works in New York. Téllez has taken part in the 11th Triennale Fellbach Kleinplastik, Fellbach, Germany (2010); Sydney Biennale (2008 and 2004); Manifesta 7, Trentino (2008); Whitney Biennial, Whitney Museum, New York (2008); 2nd Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art (2007); InSite_05, San Diego/Tijuana (2005); Prague Biennale (2005 and 2003); Utopia Station, 50th Venice Biennale (2003); and 2nd Valencia Biennial.
