Iñigo Bilbao

He was born in Ribadesella en 1975. Lives and works in Barcelona

Interested in the relationships between art, science and technology, Íñigo Bilbao currently works in the representation of medicine and biology using digital tools. In 2005 he was awarded the Cajastur grant for artists, allowing him to make the leap to digital sculpture. Earning then, by using prototyping equipment, realize his virtual works in physical works. In 2007 began to experimenting with the use of medical scans in combination with prototyping machines. In 2009 and 2010 makes the videos included in the works Chapter I: The DiscoveryNihil Ex Nihilo del of the Asturian artist Félix Luque.
