Gabriel González

Gabriel González [-dhijo-] is a self-taught artist and cofounder of the independent group "...dijo el monje."

He worked as Creative Director from 1994 to 1997, combining that post with the creation of many digital works, focusing his production on 3D stereoscopic, on experimental proposals with a non-linear interactive narrative and on net.art.

PRIMARIO (stereoscopic interactive, 1994-1995), AMAMANTA (techno-ritual with a random narrative, 1995-1997) and ELGIROENELEJE (meditative state of dynamic polarity, 1998-2007) have been exhibited at Spain’s most important electronic art festivals (ArtFutura, Sonar, Observatori, Ciber@rt, Ciberconf, ARCO, Decibelio, Actual, Edición Madrid, among others) and cinema/video events (Expo Xove, Larrotxene Video Show, Video Festival of Navarra, among others).

He has also taken part in several international events (Retrospective UNAM Mexico; File fest. São Paulo; Net Affects at Kunstvlaai4, Amsterdam; Arteweb - canal (a), Argentina; Raisat Art – Venice Biennale, among others).

He is currently working on a project titled El 4º deseo.
