Dash Macdonald

Dash MacDonald born in England, he studied product design at Falmouth University College before receiving an MA at the Royal College of Art London. His work spans multiple disciplines and mediums, from performance and social interventions to installations and conceptual product design. Research based, Macdonald’s current work aims to de-condition by publicly exposing the reality of human venerability to situation inducements and the potency of existing social systems to control and shape our behaviour, creating social experiments in which objects serve as the catalyst. He exhibits internationally, most recently in Austria, Tokyo, London and Switzerland, and is currently working in collaboration with fellow RCA graduate Demitrios Kargotis.
