Daniela Zyman

Born in 1964 in Vienna, Austria. Curator of the exhibition 'Pasajes. Viajes por el híper-espacio'

Daniela Zyman is currently chief curator of Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary in Vienna. She has joined the foundation in 2003 and has been instrumental in shaping T-B A21’s exhibition and commissions programs. Between 1995 and 2001, she acted as chief curator at the MAK – Austrian Museum of Applied Arts / Contemporary Art in Vienna and was a founding member of the MAK Center for Art and Architecture at the Schindler House in Los Angeles, which she has directed for several years. Between 2000 and 2003, she was artistic director of Künstlerhaus, Wien and A9-forum transeuropa. Zyman has earned her MA in art history at the University of Vienna and her MFA at New York’s Columbia University. She held teaching positions at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna and has authored numerous essays for catalogs and international magazines.
