Chus Domínguez
Born in León, 1967
He works with elements coming directly from reality in order to build from them pieces of storytelling halfway between the documentary, the experimental and the poetic, always looking for new ways to depict reality. Part of his work analyses the relationship between the moving image and performing arts like dance, performance and music by means of the collaboration with different artists.
His video creations and film pieces have been selected in such international festivals as Oberhausen, Vila do Conde, Tampere, IndieLisboa, Cinespaña, Mediawave, Zinebi, Seminci, Huesca, Zemos 98, L’Alternativa, etc., and have been shown in such fórums as CGAI, MUSAC, MNCARS, La Casa Encendida, Off Limits, Artium and TV stations like RTVE or Arte.
