Amidov

Amidov was formed in 1996 with a wide view of our discipline and the belief that acting in diverse fields generates superior design. Industrial design, Furniture design, and Interior design: these diffuse into one another, transferring ideas, technologies and aesthetics. Born in our south Tel-Aviv studio are set designs, One-off objects, exhibitions and medical equipment, at times collaborations, initiatives, product development and design services. Investigations and experiments in design are incorporated seamlessly into the studio’s working format. A design dialogue thereby is maintained in both academic and professional realms. Ami Drach is head of the Industrial Design Dep. at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, since 2004. Dov Ganchrow is a lecturer at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, since 2002.
