Alba G. Corral

Born in Madrid, 1977

Alba G. Corral is a visual code artist based in Barcelona. She uses real-time programming to create digital landscapes, generative art, and live performances in the context of live cinema. She imagines atmospheric narrative forms expressing sensitivity in a colored way.

She has pursued a long career always connected to visual manipulations together with artists such as Nikka, Miguel Marin or Stendhal Syndrome. Improvisation in different sound atmospheres and digital language converted into abstract organic sensations take shape in her creations. She is also one of the organizers of Femelek festival, which is focused on the promotion of the women in the new media arts world.
