Territoris oblidats

Collaborators: Pablo de Soto, Xurde Comerón, Leticia Baselgas

A participative web platform with a mandate to document and map Catalonia’s “forgotten territories.” The main goal is to enable people to supply information and geographical references about overlooked areas/spots such as abandoned industrial spaces/sites, which may be traced, mapped and documented online. Furthermore, the platform will feature reference information (bibliography, news, events…) about issues concerning urban planning, Land Art, intervention and public space, acting as a node and catalyst for a debate about how land is planned, managed and occupied, as well as about the tools that are available to make said management an open, participative and rational process.
