Temporales, 2012

Video-installation

Temporales [Temporary] is an installation of three individual videos arranged in a line on the floor. One shows various sequences taken by amateurs in different outdoor locations in the 1920s. These sequences are then contrasted with the same shots taken in the same places but at the present moment in time. Finally, a blank screen stands in for the future of these spaces, introducing the idea of unlimited continuity in time contained in archives.
