Site-specific installation for the Casa de Cultura, Cudillero. Oil on canvas

Using the similarity of positionings existing in the value of drawing and painting as a starting point, this exhibition is envisaged as a dialogue between two artists for whom these two media preserve unaltered their strength and their power to move. In other words, a conversation about a requited love, gradually fertilising and taking root in two spirits, two gazes and four hands.

The work by this couple of artists is shown in the exhibition venue of Casa de Cultura in Cudillero. The building was originally built in the late 1940s by the Bravo family, a well-known lineage of local entrepreneurs in the canning industry, as a film theatre originally known as Cine Mari. It opened as an exhibition hall with a selection of paintings from the Selgas Collection.
