Geografía secreta is a poetic/political defence of Llingua, focused on toponymy. The work is based on the naming of spatial references and geography from Asturias, premised on the human being's inherent need to connect with a point of reference. The title alludes to a term coined in the 16th century to define minority compositional techniques. The idea is to turn geography into a vocal soundtrack, using the descriptive power of the human voice and song with the purpose of adapting the music to the meaning of words. Toponyms are the words which present the greatest resistance to transformation in a language, since they are used as spatial references by people for centuries.
