Fog Walking was shot along the French coast of Biscay, near the border with Spain. Set to the almost imperceptible soundtrack of Stravinsky and the continuous rumble of the ocean, this video features a number of startling sequences in which houses, cliffs, and even at one point a statue of Christ, emerge through the veil of the weather. Almost Gothic in its sensibility, it highlights the elemental quality of the local Atlantic seaboard, while alluding to the painterly tradition of the seascape.
