Emmanuel Lefrant (Paris, 1975) the result of treatment with layers of chemical products, the black filmstrip then becomes an open space for any possible form that can be printed on its surface. In this regard, it is a space permeable to the identity of any place and any time, forming and deforming our imaginary.
The similarities with the cosmos are manifold. Film, like a star, bestows light and life through the projector lamp. The drips of colour thus become a constellation of bodies built from different materials that move throughout the limits of the screen.
