0°00 Navigation records a journey on foot along the line of the meridian through the East of England. Walking purposefully with a small GPS device on his hand, Faithfull undertakes an absolutely straight trajectory until he eventually reaches the sea. Distinguished by its wry, eccentric humour, the film has the conceptual rigour of an early work of ‘land art’, whose spare documentary style also references a number of artists’ walks of the 1960s and 1970s.
