EMAP European Media Art Platform

Several European cultural institutions unite with a common goal: to support emerging artists in creating new works.

EMAP European Media Art Platform is a European platform that aims to promote and disseminate the production of works by emerging European artists.

With the support of the European Union, this platform offers, through the EMARE European Media Artists in Residence Exchange programme, residencies for artists working in the digital field (including Internet and computer-based works), filmmakers and those working with performance, sound or video, robotics or bio-art.

The platform is made up of 11 European cultural institutions.

EMARE includes a grant of €3,000, a production budget of €4,000, free accommodation, travel expenses of up to €500, free access to the technical facilities and laboratories of the host institution, expert production advice and a public presentation, as well as the option to participate in the various exhibitions to be held at EMARE network members' festivals between 2018-2021.
