Experimental programme in school dropout prevention
Programme set out by the Directorate General for Professional Training, Curriculum Development and Educational Innovation at Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Principality of Asturias.
This project seeks to develop knowledge of technical language in order to achieve a cross-cutting usage of ICTs while also fostering experimentation and critical thinking.
The main objective is to build new learning spaces through research projects, supporting a change in the organisational and curriculum model, focusing in three areas: digital design and fabrication, audiovisuals and an introduction to creative programming.
A selection of groups of students following the special support secondary school curriculum from 12 educational centres in Asturias, participate in the programme along with their teachers.
