Family workshop: Intraplanetary journey
This workshop, inspired by the book The Word for World Is Forest, will make you imagine, create and discover new worlds.
At LABoral Centro de Arte, we have enabled access to another planet! Yes, another planet! We are sending expeditions in search of information about this new world. It may sound strange and surprising, but you have to get used to the idea as soon as possible, we can't delay.
Our expedition will consist of a series of phases in which we will draw up a roadmap, make reconnaissance plans for the new planet, and end up travelling countless light years to enter it thanks to the work The World is Forest. On our return to Earth, we will use the information we gather to create our own biome inspired by the new world - or is it the old one? In this way we will learn more about these ecological units.
In this journey inside the work of Rotor Studio inspired by the book "The word for world is forest" by Ursula K. Le Guin, we will dive into science fiction universes to reflect on ethics, the environment and, ultimately, our world.
