As part of their work, Neokinok.tv has set in motion several communication platforms —including short-term local TV stations, participative projects, Internet TV channels— always researching and developing new communicational forms both on a technical and a conceptual level. To enable their work, they have developed prototypes and creations for research purposes and to acquire knowledge using the electromagnetic spectrum or cyberspace networks, using open source tools and promoting free culture. One of Neokinok.tv’s core mandates is experimentation, viewing it as a path leading to a better understanding of the many existing realities and to ways of expressing them with greater freedom and creativity.
