Building model aeroplanes using digital fabrication at a fab lab is a good opportunity to introduce children and young people to DIY philosophy.
During this workshop, kids build a non-powered model plane with control surfaces, they can later test an adjust, learning flight characteristics. Afterwards, when scratch and dents start to appear, they start the process of repairing, modificating and upgrading.
