Discover the urban and natural environment of the city of Gijón and its environs taking digital photographs and using them to set up a collective blog. In collaboration with: Agencia de la Energía de Gijón.
Introducción
Discover the urban and natural environment of the city of Gijón and its environs taking digital photographs and using them to set up a collective blog. Participants will travel along the routes by bicycle. Organised in collaboration with the Gijón Energy Agency. Photographs will be taken along the routes, focusing on the theme of the urban environment and a sustainable environment. All equipment will be provided for the workshop, including cameras and participants will be encouraged to work together on a blog where they can share the photos they have taken.

Julio Calvo is a self-taught photographer. His work on rural areas can be seen at www.tierradecampos.com. He is currently working on a project involving the European capitals and another on the rural world and its environment in the context of a highly urbanised world.
Dates: Saturdays. October 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th 2008.
Time: Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Participants:children from 8 to 12 years of age and members of their family.
Registration fee: 18 €.
