El sonido de la industria is a project that aims to convert the great Asturian industry, the traditional heart of the economy of this land, to sonority in the form of musical pieces. Stylistically it is based on classical industrial music, power electronics, or dark ambient, with absolute freedom of experimentation in all senses.

The formation of the pieces will take into account the concrete characteristic of the factory and its sonority, using sound material collected in situ but the freedom of musical construction will prevail using any method and instrument that is within reach.

This project derives from the 'El sonido del vacío' project carried out at LABoral Centro de Arte that included themes based on field recordings in abandoned factories.
