Due to the technological development and the democratization of images, our society is used to portray reality, even more than living in it. All of this, which is also connected to the birth of the internet and the growth of social media, leads today´s society to connect with each other through the consumption of images.
In this case the show tries to move away from the representation of reality by twisting it, with the use of analogic distortion and animation of domestic super 8mm films, which have been collected over the years and make use of a later montage. The meditation and experimentation is based on the de-identification of the being. The artist hopes to submerge the viewer in an objective reflection, positioning him/her as an active viewer.
